Description:

Rev-A-Shelf 14 and 15 Liter Round Trash Cans are great for the bathroom vanity or dressing room. Large enough to be efficient but small enough to be out of the way. As the cabinet door opens, the lifting mechanism raises the lid enabling the trash can to pivot-out with the door. The 14 liter bin is available in a white lacquered finish, while the 15 liter bin is available in both white lacquered and stainless steel. All feature a removable inner container with a built-in handle for easy removal and cleaning.

	Seems funny that a trash bin could make an impresion, but this one has. Takes up little space, yet is perfectly adequate in size. I use an 8 gallon trash bag in it, and the container holds plenty of trash, but it fills often enough where there is never an odor problem. I used to use a larger bin. This is much better. The larger one would often give an offensive odor before filling. This is never a burden to change, it has a decent amount of space for refuge so you don't have to empty it too often, yet it fills quickly enough where there is never time for an unpleasant odor to develop. IOW it is the perfect size, easy to use, and an asset to the kitchen. I highly recommend it.

	I love how it fits under the sink neatly. We did not install the lid, but it seemed like the lid was going to catch when closed. I think the install has to be perfectly level and square for the lid to close perfectly. This was not an issue for us since Iam using this for recycling, not stinky trash. iDirections are mostly in German with a very abbreviated english... they try to do the Ikea thing using pictures but not nearly as clear..... helps if you have some mechanical ability.

	Hi, What dimension would be needed in height including the space needed for the cover when open. I have limited space as I have a deep sink and would have the garbage under the sink and want to make sure it would fit. The garbage is 15 5/16". How many extra inches needed for the raised cover when garbage is in use? - Asked about product RAS-8-010314-15
		The overall height of this unit is 23" when the top is raised. The top adds an extra 3-1/2" height.
