Description:
Made from the latest technology, the 14-Gallon Touchless Trashcan® SX by iTouchless is the next step for your kitchen. A sensor detects hands and debris within a 6-inch range, and a mechanism automatically slides the lid open. Three seconds after your hand moves away from the lid, it closes automatically. At the front of the lid there are open and close buttons for manual operation, as well as an on/off power switch on the back of the trash can. The trash can includes a garbage bag retainer ring to secure and hide the trash bag inside the trash can. Fits any regular 13-gallon or 18-gallon trash bag. Ships via UPS.

| This is a good-looking and convenient trash can that works as advertised. The top retracts smoothly and quickly enough that I don't feel impatient while waiting for it to open. It doesn't unexpectedly open when there is casual activity in the vicinity, another concern I had. With the trash bag tucked into the retaining ring, there is nothing to break the sleek design. It tucks nicely in the corner of my kitchen. I bought the optional AC adapter and am glad not to deal with batteries. Highly recommend this item. |

| I have used the automatic lid trash cans for years and this one stands out because there is a power cord available but not included, and I don't have to constantly change batteries. So I recommend getting a power cord. It will run on batteries also if you choose. |

| Easy to set up and operate. It opens as much as possible but a design with a larger opening would be even better. I left off the 5th star only because there are small scratches on the lid because of rubbing on something during opening and closing. |
