| Our kitchen is still under construction. We have had the table legs attached to the wooden table support, but the granite counter top has not been placed on top yet. So I cannot yet evaluate its expected performance under load yet. I am placing 3 stars to submit this review. In a few weeks I will better be able to rate the product and adjust the star rating. | Per the manufacture, if you are going to have 1 end of the island against the wall for support, you should use at least 4 legs. If you are going to be using the legs and have the island freestanding, you would need at least 6 legs. If you are planning on having the island be stationary, you should also purchase the mounting adapters to fasten the bases directly to the floor for additional support. |
