| Can I use this base for a glass top 24 x 48 oval shape? Is there a away to mount the glass onto of the "spider"? I was thinking that I could purchase two and space them as a double base pedestal supporting an oval glass top. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much. | Glad you enjoyed the video! If your top is 24" x 48", that would work as this base has a 48" max top recommendation, with a weight capacity of approximately 125 lbs. While this table is usually made to hold granite and marble, it has never been used with a glass top. Traditionally a very heavy duty glass epoxy would need to be used, but you would see all the components of the spider, and if the epoxy is not correctly applied, it will develop a yellow tint. |

| Yes, this base will support a square top measuring 48" x 48". There is a suggested max weight capacity of 100 - 125 lbs for the tops, so make sure your top is less than that weight. |
