Product is well made and I like the tilt option. I would give it 5 stars if it weren't so pricey. |

Order 2 for a small seat bench my wife uses to put on her shoes before heading out. Work great and easy to install. Used 2inch slats so a few more holes for attaching a seat would have been nice. |

Even better than I was expecting. heavy gauge steel and a strong internal spring. Almost what I would call 'industrial'. Couple of tips though, when you install the top, don't but it up tight to the wall. You have to lift the bracket up a little in order to get the latch/lock to release the catch that prevent the bracket from folding on you (great feature actually and we're only talking 2-3 degrees or so). This means the top edge of your counter or desk top will have to move back into the wall a little bit. You should keep an 1/8th inch clearance or so. Also, use a square to make sure the brackets are sticking perfectly straight out (perpendicular) to the wall when you attach your top or else the bracket might bind as you fold it down (collapse it).
This is a great bracket. Really strong! |

Sturdy hinges do what they are supposed to. Just make sure you align them well or they won't close properly. |

I purchased a 16 inch brackets. They appear to be exactly what I was hoping they were. Very sturdy, very solid and well-built. I simply am using them for a fold away table that is 2 foot deep and 6 foot long. I always like to make sure things will be sturdy and stable. These brackets could hold up a small slab of concrete it seems. |

Wanted to make a drop down counter surface in a very tiny kitchen. 19" x 30". The shelf bracket was perfect. |

![]() | If I wanted to mount a 71 inch long table to the wall with this, could I use just 2 folding brackets? - Asked about product HA-287.31.742
![]() | These brackets will hold up to 880 lbs. if two brackets are used; so considering your weight is less, the brackets would be able to support your top. However, with a long top we can not guarantee that your top will not bow in the middle, that would be dependent on your material. |

![]() | I was wondering if this could be used singly to attach a stool top to a kitchen island, kind of like a fold down stool. What does this need to be mounted to to be secure enough to support the weight of an adult? - Asked about product HA-287.31.742
![]() | The weight capacity is up to 375 lbs per bracket and it would need to attach to the wall. |

![]() | I am planning on using two of these brackets to install a simple fold-away bench in a walk-in closet. The bench will remain in the open position 90% of the time with relatively few fold-away occasions. Seated person weight will be approx. 300 lbs max. Would you recommend these brackets for this intended use? Thanks for your help. John - Asked about product HA-287.31.742
![]() | These brackets are very heavy duty and can hold approximately 440 Lbs each. This item should work fine in your application. |

![]() | I'm interested in this shelf bracket for outside for a fold down bench on my deck. Will they rust? I see they are steel, but is the coating a rust-inhibiting paint? - Asked about product HA-287.31.741
![]() | These are not coated with anything. They are steel, so if exposed to natural elements, they would rust. |
