Substantial bracket. Thick enamel finish--may mic slightly larger than 1/2". (I have had a difficult time finding screws to match since the bracket will be fully visible in my application. I will likely use black oxide lag bolts and a bit of clear nail polish.) Took a couple of months for order to be shipped, so you may want to check on availability. |

Very sturdy. My use required a shorter rod
so I simply cut a 6" rod to the length I needed.
Thanks! |

easy to install
excellent quality
probably overkill for our purposes (we ordered three for a shelf that would hold 25 pounds---but a museum piece so we wanted to be sure, since we live in earthquake country)
It is wonderful to see a product that is so well crafted. |

Definitely worth the asking price. Bought 8 to use for four floating shelves. I have no doubt they will hold a 14" deep shelf and a substantial amount of weight as advertised. |

![]() | I have a solid heart pine plank that measures 70"x8"x3" and weighs 42.4 lb. that will be a fireplace mantel. I will be mounting it to wooden studs and have access to 3 studs in the span. Will I need 3 of your supports or will 2 suffice? Also, what are the measurements of the square mounting plate on the support? Thank you. - Asked about product FB-32152
![]() | The mounting plate of FB-32152 is 1-3/4''W x 3/16''D x 1-1/2''H. Each rod can hold up to 50lb when mounted directly into studs, and if your plan is only 43 lb than 2 should be suffice. |

![]() | What is the maximum shelf depth recommended for the 10" bracket? What would the maximum weight 2 10" brackets can hold versus 3 10" brackets? - Asked about product FB-32136
![]() | The maximum shelf depth recommended is no more than 4" of unsupported weight. For every 2 rods, we say there is a 100 lbs weight capacity, so if you have a 3rd rod, it would increase to hold more weight, about 50 lbs to be conservative. |
