 | I am looking at purchasing the Windster RA-77 wall-mounted range hood and would be needing the 46" extension for the chimney. The "vents" or "slots" at the top of the extension will have to go through the ceiling or be cut at the ceiling, leaving an unsightly finish at the shop. Question: can a solid extension be ordered (w/o the "vents/slots")? Or can the extension be flipped "upside down" so the solid part of the extension is near the ceiling? Or is the extension available in a longer length so the openings wouldn't be a problem? - Asked about product WX-RA-7730SS | |
 | The RA-77EXTDC comes only in one size, and we do not have any other solid extensions without the slots. Unfortunately, the extension cannot be flipped upside down and installed as it will not work that way. |

| Yes, this range hood can be vented outside with ducting or converted into a re-circulating hood with the addition of ductless kit (WX-RA-77DK). |
