| I'm a mere consumer, not a carpenter or building contractor. I found the hood reasonably easy to install. It works very well: its air flow is very good for my very average electric stove. The control buttons feel a little wobbly: their hard plastic buttons probably operate microswitches on a circuit board (this is a moderately priced device). However, everything works perfectly.
