	This is a solid product, exactly what i needed for a vintage country kitchen that already had a wall exhaust. There isnâ€™t lights nor fans and no moving parts which made install very easy. I have banged it a few times already with pots and/or likes and no dents nor scratches. Would recommend and buy again when needed

		Just to be clear, this unit is just the shell of a range hood but does not contain a motor inside. But yes, you would be able to mount this without a cabinet above the unit.
