 | Hello,
What are the opening dimensions? I see nominally 36"W x 19"D but I'd like to know what the actual opening WxD dimensions are please, if you can. Not sure how thick the wood is.
Thank you in advance! - Asked about product NA-R2136SMB1HUF1 |
| | Thank you for reaching out! The wood is 3/4" thick, which slightly reduces the interior dimensions. You can find the exact opening dimensions in the spec sheet here: Click here

| | The Omega National Signature Series arched wall mount hood comes with the trim as shown in the photo. The trim for the Signature Series straight valance has a different trim as shown in the thumbnail photos.

 | Hi there-
The area where my hood is - is 36" wide. I would like to order the 36" Maple Straight Valance and want to confirm that will fit with the trim on the sides? Also do you have any pics of the chimney extenders installed. Trying to see if this is something we need. Thank you - Asked about product NA-R2136SMB1MUF1 |
| | Your overall width would be 38-3/8" W and the trim adds 2-3/8" to the overall dimension of the width.

 | I read under tips, that if the hood width is stated as 30", that it fits a 30" space. But some hoods have an additional 2 inches trim added. This hood shows trim so does it fit in a 30 inch space? Can you tell me which wood hoods DO fit in a 30 inch space?
Also, is Maple the best wood to be painted so that the grain doesn't show?
Thank you!
Gail Meyer - Asked about product NA-R2130SMB1MUF1 |
| | Yes, Maple is the best wood to paint /stain. The molding adds an additional 2-3/8" to width on this hood. Hoods that do not have trim is what you will need to look at, here is an option: Click here I would suggest looking at the Air-Pro wood hoods, as these hoods can be custom sized to exactly 30''W for an additional fee.

 | I'm remodeling our kitchen. I have an 8' ceiling, with a 30" range. I am interested in a complete arched range hood. Are there packages that include everything needed? My questions are, would I use a 30" or 36" RANGE HOOD for a 30" range? Also, would I need to add a chimney as well to have it go to the ceiling? - Asked about product NA-R2630SMB1MUF1 |
| | Unfortunately we do not have kits where everything can be purchased together. For a 30" Range, you could use a 30" hood, however it is better to have a 3" overhang on each side for better coverage so a 36" hood would be more beneficial. For an 8'to 9' Ceiling, you would need the NA-RCH30MUF1 chimney which is 23-1/2" H and trimmable. For 10' ceilings you would need the taller 31" H chimney to have the hood go up to the ceiling. Depending on the cooktop, or if you have a gas stove, you would need 390 cfm or higher. However if you have a high power stove like a DCF, Thermadore, or Viking type cooktop, you would need much more CFM. If you have any more questions or would like more help, please call us when you have a chance at 1.800.667.8721.

 | I am trying to purchase this unit in the white painted version that is pictured on your site. How do I do that? I don't see an option for that. - Asked about product NA-R2642SMB1QUF1 |
| | All Omega National products ship unfinished to give customers the option to paint or stain. To match yours to the white, you would need to paint the hood once you receive it.

 | What is included in the price for item #NA225205MB1MUF1 ? Is the hood, chimney and interior ductwork all extra? What color is the wood painted, or do I do that? Can the chimney open at the top so the ductwork can go out the top? Thank you, Jo Anne - Asked about product NA-R2630SMB1MUF1 |
| | Item NA-R2630SMB1MUF1 is just the wood hood shell only; the blower, chimney and interior ductwork are all additional. All Omega National products come unfinished, ready for paint or stain; so that a customer can match it to existing cabinetry by painting or staining it yourself. Yes, the Chimney is open on the top and back side so the ductwork can go out.

 | I am interested in this hood, however, I have 10' ceilings and wondering whether the vent would work? I don't want it to look to high up up. Thanks
- Asked about product NA-R2636SMB1MUF1 |
| | Item NA-R2636SMB1MUF1 is just the wood hood itself; if you did want your range to look like the image, you would also need to purchase the chimney. The chimney piece is trimmable, so you would be able to cut the piece to make it fit the room.

 | can I get the vertical measurements for the signature series wood wall mounted range hood by omega national? looking at the 36" range hood, but I would like to know the height of each section (bottom molding, hood, chimney). thanks
chris - Asked about product NA-R2136SMB1QUF1 |
| | The 36" with the molding is overall 38-3/8" wide. The bottom section between the molding is 6" high. The overall hood section is 22-7/8" high. It is 19" in depth, and 20-3/16" in depth with the molding (so overall). The chimney is 23-1/2" or 31" high (trimmed to fit), 9-11/16" deep, and 17-7/16" w for the 36". You can actually find the individual specifications under the link labeled "Dimensions" in the "Additional Information" section ( Click here ).
