Description:
The Signature Craftsman Range Hood by Omega National is a beautiful, practical addition to any kitchen that needs a touch of contemporary flare. This modern range hood is available in Red Oak, Maple, Hickory, Cherry, or Alder wood species, with either a straight or arched raised panel valance in 30", 36", 42", and 48" widths. The Signature Craftsman is designed for easy installation using a standard, patent pending French cleat hanging system. Each purchase includes a silver metallic powder coated liner, which accommodates all Broan ventilation offered by Omega National Products. A removable, matching chimney option is available, but sold separately. All installation hardware is included.

| Hi there, Is the trim on the bottom panel removable or can it be customized? I have a 36" wide space and unfortunately this hood wouldn't fit with the trim (37" wide). - Asked about product NA-R2836SMB1HUF1 | |
| The trim can be removed, however, it is made into the bottom of the vent hood. It would require more than easily removing from the side, as it is attached to the frame. |

| Do you have to install a chimney? When you attach the hood to the wood cleat in the back how far down does it go on it. If need be can the molding not be put on that way a can put my own on to cover the gap, and what is the distance from the top of the hood to the top of the blower where my vent line will attach. | The chimney is not a required part for operation of the hood, you do not have to install a chimney. The recommended height of the vent hood is 30-36in above the cooktop, the exact height should be verified with local building codes. The bottom of the mounting plate should be 4-5/8in above the bottom of the hood vent. The height of the power pack would determine other measurements inside the vent hood. The trim is removable however, the trim that is above the valance is connected to the valance making this a functional piece of the vent hood. |

| I'm interested in buying a range hood and like the look of the Omega National Signature Craftsman, but I'm totally confused as to what I would need to buy. In the end, I'm looking for a wall mount hood, wood that can be painted/stained to match the cabinets, 1,000 (or more) CFM power pack with lights, removable trays for easy cleaning, 30" width, approx. 22" - 24" depth, externally vented...not sure what else I'm missing (liner? chimney? other?). | If you want to go with a blower that has at least 1000 or more CFM you can use the Craftsman, but you will need to use a external blower. As it will not support a blower of that size. Omega has the Arch Signature Series hood that will support a Sirius 960 CFM Blower. Click here |

| Item NA-R2036SMB1MUF1 does include the wood hood and liner. You would need to select a chimney (if you desire), a power pack and a recirculation kit if you wanted to make the hood ductless. On the top of the page we do have steps #1-4 listed to help:
