 | 1. How much space is required from bottom or hood to cooktop (gas)? I have 30" from cooktop to bottom of 6" (slim) hood. Product detail lists both 30 - 36" minimum AND 36" minimum. 2.  | We recommend between 30-36" of space between the cooktop and the hood so 30" is fine. There is no advantage of a dual blower over a single blower, just the CFM being higher. The reason for dual is the blowers provide more CFM, however, they are housed in two smaller blower casings to keep it quiet. 57k BTU requires about 600 CFM. There would be no backdraft as long as a damper is installed. A higher rated CFM would not harm anything. |
