This Air-Pro Plain Valance Wall Mount Range Hood features a plain valance. The high-end style and quality of this range hood make it the perfect addition to any kitchen. The hood is constructed from any of four different quality hardwoods including Red Oak, Maple, Hickory and Cherry. The woods are unfinished so your range hood can be painted or stained to match your kitchen cabinets or range. This range hood is available in 30 and 36” widths to accommodate most range sizes. Re-circulating ductwork kits are also available.

| Can the microwave still be left if one just removes the doors keeping the frame of the upper cabinets? | This all depends on the how you hang the hood, it is not designed to hold that kind of weight.
You would need to make sure that you add extra screws to hold the added weight of the microwave. We can not guarantee you would not have issues, you may want to talk to a General Contractor and make sure this will work for your application. |

| Hi. I am looking for a wood hood like this, however I need a ductless/ventless blower. Is this possible? Can you help me determine what I should order? My home is a townhome with plaster walls. Our range is on the interior wall, so it is not able to be vented. We currently do not have a range hood at all, so this will be a huge help in controlling grease! - Asked about product FU-FVAL30-M | |
| This is just a empty wood hood, so you would need to select the correct blower, that which would allow you to be ductless. Models FU-021 or FU-01A will allow you to be ductless with the ductless kit model FU-DK-SMALL.
Select the hood you want and add to the cart, and there will be an additional cart section to select a blower, and then select "View Blower Accessories" to add the ductless kit after you select a blower. The corresponding liner will then show after selecting a blower. |

| You can take the doors off of the upper cabinet and mount the valence hood to the face frame of the old cabinet. This will give you the look of a wood hood and will leave the underside of the valance hood open in the front. If you plan to keep the microwave in place, they are mounted to the bottom of the upper cabinet, therefore you cannot remove the upper cabinet as you would have nothing to hold the microwave in place.
Most people remove the microwave and the upper cabinet and replace it with a valance hood, metal t-shaped liner, and a blower pack. The valance hood fits between the left and right upper cabinets and takes the place of the upper cabinet. |
