Hi, I want to use this fan with a Wolf PL402212 hood insert. Do you know whether the fan controls on the Wolf hood will be compatible with this unit? Anything else I should be aware of when trying to use these two together? Thanks! - Asked about product FTE-REC10XLT
This fan pulls 4.86 AMPs and can be controlled by any speed control that is rated for 5 AMPs or more. |

Want to use this exhaust fan for a kitchen island with an above-cooktop ceiling-mount hood with 8" rigid steel ducting (about 8 feet long) terminating on an outside vertical wall. Is this appropriate? Ie: is it compatible with greasy/smokey cooking residue, and is it's motor bearings ok with wall mounting orientation? Or is there a better option for about 400-500 CFM outdoor-wall-mount device? Thank you, Dan - Asked about product FTE-RE8XL
We would suggest using the RVF models, which are designed specifically for wall mounting - Click here |
