- With wood slatted mattress supports mounted in flexible sockets for comfort
- Recommended for relatively light foam matresses, without box springs, 6" - 10" thick
- Choice of toekick panel height from 75 - 95mm (3" - 3-3/4")
- Laminated wooden slats, with elm finish
- Dimensions listed are internal cabinet dimensions, the cabinet and bed box constructions require a wood thickness of 19 - 25mm (3/4" - 1")
- Includes drilling template for proper alignment and installation of hardware
- Gas filled pistons are designed to accompany a 19 mm (3/4") particle board front with a weight of approximately 100 lbs. and a mattress weighing 60 to 80 lbs. (the bed lift will not operate properly unless these two ratings are adhered to)

This Hafele "Murphy" Foldaway Bed Kit has a slated mattress frame for inset front with sturdy, torsion-free, tubular steel frame. Integral automatic foot folding mechanism (i.e. the feet extends automatically when the bed is opened out for use and vice versa).

 | It is easily operated. It includes a drilling template for proper alignment and installation of hardware. The installation is just 4 easy steps, but Hafele does recommend that successful and safe installation of the fitting set and construction of casework requires a professional skill level. The casework is constructed by the end user - Casework to be constructed of high quality material (preferably high quality plywood), minimum thickness 3/4”. The price varies based on the size of the bed frame needed. |
