Great space saver in a small narrow by: Tony Gaimari ✔Verified Buyer from: Los Angeles, CA on: August 25, 2021 |
|
We are dedicating 1/3 of a new closet for guests and I knew if I put a shelf 70 inches off the ground it would soon be filled with stuff we never looked for again! This is perfect because it lets us use the space below the hanging clothes for some shelves and drawers in the closet for guests. |

Really handy way to store clothes. by: Burke E Nelson ✔Verified Buyer from: Albuquerque, N on: November 11, 2020 |

The lift allows careful storage of suits- using otherwise lost space in the upper area of the closet. We really like the flexibility. |

Excellemt product by: Keith Enerson ✔Verified Buyer from: San Diego, ca on: November 8, 2017 |
|
This ingenious device helps you make better use of limited closet space. Clothes on hangers can be placed higher up but are still made accessible. This allows shelves to be placed at a height that can be used more easily. Great product. |
|
Well made and works by: David Mayou ✔Verified Buyer from: Minneapolis, MN on: August 1, 2017 |
|
It's designed to go into their cabinets, so I had to mount some plywood on the walls to screw into. Adapts to your closet with adjustable stops at top and bottom of travel As noted by other reviewers, you must be able to lift the weight of the hanging items in order to return the bar to the top position. |

Installation went well by: Derry Myers ✔Verified Buyer from: Edmond, OK on: March 13, 2017 |

So far so good. It was a relatively easy installation and it seems to work just fine. |

Great product by: Marcia ✔Verified Buyer from: Dallas, Tx on: December 7, 2016 |

This is my second one. The plastic casing on the first one broke. I believe the hinges were 48" apart in my opening. I reduced the opening to 45.5" and it seems stronger. Hope this one will last more than two years. |

REALLY GOOD PRODUCT by: Doug ✔Verified Buyer from: Katy, Tx on: October 28, 2015 |
|
Compared two of these products. Chose this one based on weight capacity. Hung three of the pull down racks at the top of my closet to triple deck one wall so we could hang a bunch more clothes vs the single row closet rod we had. Turned out fantastic. I felt they were very easy to install. I love doing these things though. They would probably be a little difficult for a novice to install. Instructions slightly lacking. |

pretty cool product! by: chiguy ✔Verified Buyer from: Chicago, Il on: July 21, 2015 |

Solved a need! Rods were up near the ceiling in two of my closest. Was difficult reaching and seeing clothing. Bought these, went up in a snap. Very easy to install. Seem to have great tension. Up and down quickly, safely. Clever concept, well thought out. Very happy! |

good product and fair price by: eldon c. ✔Verified Buyer from: phoenix, az on: May 24, 2013 |

For an old codger like me (74), this pull down clothes rod was easy enough to install, and had the strength and weight capacity to handle my specific needs. |

Heavy duty wardrobe lifts by: Margaret Mills ✔Verified Buyer from: Oklahoma City, OK on: March 20, 2013 |
|
I would only recommend heavy duty ones if it is for suits. We have bought a cheaper brand before and they broke and sprayed oil all over the clothes and ceiling. These lifts have an extra stopper for safety. |

Works like a charm! by: Alison ✔Verified Buyer from: Edmond, OK on: July 3, 2012 |

I have 9 foot ceilings in my closet and the space at the top was just wasted shelving. I installed several of these pull down wardrobe lifts and it nearly doubled my closet space. Love them! |
|
Great Idea, Well Balanced by: fy ✔Verified Buyer from: Rancho Palos Verdes, CA on: May 31, 2011 |
|
With 9' ceilings and less than a 5'x6' area, hangar space is scarce. I bought two to utilize the highest spaces without having to use a step ladder - which would have taken up more floor space. This made starting from scratch completely worth it though it would have been nice to have the finish of pre-fab closet organizers. |

I use this product for fabric deplay in my furniture...I know not for commerical use. But they work beautiful and after 3 years using the original ones I have only just recently had to replace on. My point amazing product. Plus Kitchen Source deliveries. A very positive experience and will shop with them in the future.

good... by: LJL ✔Verified Buyer from: Boise, ID on: September 10, 2009 |

We have very high ceilings and I need to make every inch of closet space count. These pull-downs do it for us. I have 2 large ones in my closet and my husband has one small one in his. I like the smaller ones best -- less space is required as you pull them down, and they're strong. If I redid my closet I'd probably opt to use 4 small ones instead. |

I'm a professional organizer. I have a client who would like to install a pull down hanger bar in a tall narrow closet. How deep does the closet need to be in order to be able to pull down the hanger bar correctly? Thanks! - Asked about product HA-805.31.202 | ||
Hafele recommends an overall depth from the back of the closet to the front of the rod of 11-13/16". This is with the spacers included to provide optional distance between the back wall and the hangers. In the drop-down, select the width - the very last option is the heavy duty (Heavy Capacity) lift. It is available in two finishes. |
