Made from solid hard rock maple, these carts will definitely make a strong statement in your kitchen for years to come. The four inch thick end grain working surface sits atop handsome tapered legs and optional casters. The surface of the butcher blocks are also gentle on knives and cutlery. Designed to resist nicks and gouges, the excellent craftsmanship of the butcher block carts by John Boos prevent bacteria from penetrating the wood, keeping your family healthy and safe. A stunning Cream finish on the legs, face, sides, and bottom completes the look of the these beautiful pieces of furniture.

*Denser, thicker product than Mystery Oil - penetrates deeply into the grains of the wood, leaves a silky wax barrier and locks moisture in

*Mixture of white mineral oil & beeswax
*Thinner product than the cream - more easily absorbed & penetrates more deeply into the grain of the wood to help protect & revitalize

| I am impressed, and that is not easy! This Boos Block table is very well made, good looking and will probably outlast me many times over. At first we were a little concerned about scarring it up since it looked so nice but we know better now. We use it every day and so far not even a scratch from sharp knives. A sharp cleaver and heavy chopping maybe but sharp knives don't bother it at all. I wish everything I buy was made and worked this well! |

| Recently i had my table sanded down and now it is very porous. What can i do to eliminate stains and close the surface. It is now extremely dry. I've oiled it again and again but it's very thirsty. - Asked about product JB-GB-C | |
| Mineral oil (penetrating oil) should be used. If this table isnt being used for food prep, you can always polyurethane it. |
