Description:
Functionality and flair make the Cucina Grande Kitchen Work Islands pieces to accent any kitchen. These kitchen islands feature hard rock maple tops and food service grade stainless steel bodies. The 2-1/4 inch thick edge grain butcher block style top is an ideal spot to store, prepare and consume your homemade delicacies. It features a varnique finish. The towel bar and lower shelf create even more storage in your kitchen. An 8 inch drop leaf is available on these islands to further your work space. The dovetailed maple drawer with its stainless steel front provides space for your smaller gourmet cookware. An optional set of four 5 inch locking casters is offered. Another available option with these ever functional kitchen islands is a stainless steel pot rack. The pot rack extends 48 inches above the table top and features a 2 inch by 3/16 inch bar with 15 stainless steel hooks.

| This cart/island is beautiful. You have to assemble it, but every joint and bolt fit easily because the pieces are so accurately made. Be warned though—it is heavy. It took four of us to turn it over after it was all together. I ordered the cart wheels |

| This is, unfortunately, an out-of-the-box review, as I've only recently assembled the workstation. It is extremely sturdy, well-made, and easy to assemble. It's a lovely addition to our kitchen, very professional-looking. The drawer action was a little sticky, but other than that, no complaints. I will probably buy more hooks. Good quality butcher block and stainless steel. |

| The island is a great addition to our kitchen. Sturdy and beautiful. Only thing that was disappointing was that we ordered 48 x 36 top size thinking the 8" drop was additional, making total top 44" wide. However, the 36" wide figure INCLUDES the 8" drop. In the long run it actually fit our space better.
A quality piece of furniture but bring some muscle to lift that 220lb finished product! |

| The island legs will be cut down so the overall height would still be 35"H. If you wish for the piece to have the legs uncut, we can also request that for you; but we would need to place the order for you directly. The table with uncut legs and casters would measure 40"H. |

| Unfortunately the manufacturer indicates they do not offer an additional shelf for this item. The shelf however is very sturdy and made of food service grade stainless steel, so it should not damage easily. |

| The drop leaf is on the long side of the top, so when closed, the item is 60" W x 28" D x 35" H. When open, the item is 60" W x 36" D x 35" H. |
