The American Cherry Le Rustica butcher block kitchen island from John Boos features a beautiful 4" thick end-grain top, which is made from American Cherry. The solid wood base is Black and has a Cream finish. This kitchen island is available with a 30" table with 1 dovetailed drawer or a 48" table with 2 dovetailed drawers. The dovetailed drawers will keep your utensils handy and the slatted shelf holds your pots and pans, cookbooks or storage containers.

| No way can you beat this working kitchen island. I replaced a larger 2010 model Boos Block that was great as well but just was too big. I it came in the kitchen when we purchased the house)
It went together easily enough . The one this replaced had a urethane sealer on the top and this one is an open edge. I ordered the oil and wax.... easily applied and the "look" is worth keeping this oiled monthly. Well made, excellent product made here in the USA. |

| Can't be more pleased with this butcher block table. The cherry wood top is gorgeous and the black base makes a great contrast. Assembly was easy but you must follow the instructions and rub soap on the large screws before trying to tighten them. Looks better in our kitchen than we even imagined. Would definitely recommend this even if kind of pricey. Should last a lifetime. |

| I placed my order just days before Christmas which delayed my 48” Butcher Block from being shipped out quickly, but I'm glad I didn’t wait since the item went up $100 after the New Year. Once it was shipped, it took just two days to reach me which was amazing considering I live 450 miles from a major town or city: there is no such thing as overnight shipping for us.
Now that I have it, I don’t know how I lived without it. When I bake bread, I use very little flour to keep my dough from sticking when kneading. When cutting vegetables, I have enough room to cut several items and place them in their own pile instead of cutting one, then scooping it up, and then placing it in a bowl to set aside. I can go on, but I think these two examples give you an idea of what an outstanding block John Boos makes.
Lastly, it’s a gorgeous a piece of furniture. It really looks beautiful after it has been oiled.

A week ago and I received it early. I'm delighted with the delivery service
and the quailty of the John Boos Iland is gorgeous. What a statement in my kitchen, Thank you for a well made prouduct. One thing it comes with a small sample of board cream to seal the top, the company should have send four little envelopes to seal it right. I would have been happy to purchase it at the time of order. I love it. |

| I wanted a kitchen island but didn't have the space for a full sized island and as I had purchased a large sized Boos cutting board a few years back I knew the quality was very good. After searching on the internet I ended up buying the Boos American Cherry La Rustica with shelf. It's heavy 4" Boos Block top and it's design fit my space perfectly. It's a nice piece of furniture and the only reason I gave it 4(and one half) stars is that it's a little pricey ... but you'd be hard pressed to find a better quality piece. |

| Everyone uses different names for the same item. I generally think of a work table as a Stainless Steel top and shelf, but some people consider our wood top tables as work tables also. Butcher block is how most people refer to our wood top tables, but they are specifically usually constructed from thick hardwood strips glued together in an end-grain configuration, and resist knife nicks and have a multidimensional look. |
