![]() | beautiful table but late by: Deborah Becker from: West New York, NJ on: January 21, 2013 |
The table is great, wood is beautiful. I (a woman) put the table together myself but the casters are a different story and John Boos should do better. The casters come with instructions that say installation takes considerable strength and requires a rubber mallet (or hammer) to force the wheels onto the legs. I used a different approach instead of forcing in the casters: tighten the nut on the casters (does take some strength) until the rubber piece is wider than the leg - leave the caster in the leg opening and then slightly loosen the nut until the caster slides in, and then tighten the nut again. You'll need a 3/4 inch wrench for the casters. Not easy but much easier than what the instructions say. |

The table is beautiful and exactly how it was represented when purchased on line. Packaged very well and no damage. Two items to put in the "do better category": a)I wish it had a "Boos" label burned into it, and b) it took longer to ship than expected. |

![]() | Hi, I see that the casters add an extra 5" to height. If we order without the casters, can we add them at a later time. Thank you! - Asked about product JB-KI1048
![]() | Yes, you can add the casters at a later date. All you have to do is remove the feet and you're all set to insert the casters. |

![]() | I am looking for the 48 x 24 x 36. Does the 36 inch height increase by the size of the optional casters or would it be 36 inch height with the casters installed on the table? I am lookig for 36 inches to be the overall heght including the casters. Thank you. - Asked about product JB-KI1048
![]() | The optional castors are an additional 5", so if you are using the castors with the table, the overall height would then be 41"H. |
