Description:
The Homestead Block by John Boos is a kitchen work table with a traditional butcher block style. The rich Cherry butcher block top has an end grain construction with a Cream finish and creates a striking contrast with the Alabaster base. The hidden utensil drawer and slatted lower shelf offer convenient storage for utensils and larger items. This work table measures 36" W x 24" D x 34" H and is a beautiful addition to any kitchen.

*Denser, thicker product than Mystery Oil - penetrates deeply into the grains of the wood, leaves a silky wax barrier and locks moisture in

*Mixture of white mineral oil & beeswax
*Thinner product than the cream - more easily absorbed & penetrates more deeply into the grain of the wood to help protect & revitalize

| After eyeing this for quite some time, I splurged and am so glad I did! This is a solid piece of furniture, very well made, and a beautiful addition to our kitchen. It is very heavy, in hind sight I would have gladly paid the extra to have it brought into the house rather then left at the door. |

| From start to finish this was what online shopping should be all about. Prior to ordering our John Boos table we had some questions on the product. All questions were promptly, and correctly, answered. Once we placed the order the tracking and delivery went better than expected. It arrived arrived a day early and the coordination with the delivery firm getting the 250 pound box off the truck went perfectly. The best news was the price. We ordered the table in early November and Kitchensource.com was running a cyber week special. We asked if they would honor the price and without hesitation they agreed to match the holiday sale price. While we expect the table to last "forever" (that's how well it is constructed) before we purchase anything else for our kitchen we will look to Kitchensource.com first. |

| Does this come fully assembled? If it is fully assembled is it possible to separate the top from the base? I live on a second floor with a sharp right hand turn in the staircase. Moving this fully assembled at ~250lbs might not be an option. - Asked about product JB-KI1038 | |
