| I couldn't be happier with this cart! Because my kitchen does not have adequate counter space, this portable cart gives me the extra surface I need. The maple top is of the highest quality, and is removable for easy cleaning. The cart is very sturdy, and the casters make it easy to move about the kitchen. I purchased two rectangular woven baskets for the second shelf and they just complete the look and function. I will get many years out of this cart - such a welcome addition to my small kitchen. The only issue I had is that the assembly was not a breeze, but my husband is a contractor so he had the right tools. |

After assembling, don't freak if the board sits wobbly, all you have to do is readjust the top shelf tension to get perfect alignment. I wish the directions would say that, but other than that it assembled very well! John Boos is a product that every American should be proud of! Supreme Craftmanship! |

| The maple top is the same maple that John Boos uses on other butcher blocks. It is a cream finish so oil or cream finishes will always make the wood appear a little darker. |

| We do recommend that this top be oiled before using and then about every 3 weeks. It was oiled before it left the factory however with the inconsistent weather conditions during shipping, the board needs to be treated before use. |
