Description:
The Homestead Block from John Boos is a perfect blend of a functional workstation and a beautiful centerpiece for your kitchen. The Homestead Block features a 5" thick hard rock maple butcher block top with end grain construction and a standard boos block cream finish with beeswax. The sturdy Natural maple base complements any kitchen décor with its attractive wood color. The base is also available in several other finishes, allowing you to match the block to your kitchen décor. The block features a slatted shelf for out-of-the-way storage and a hidden utensil drawer to hold your knives, flatware and other kitchen accessories.

| Beautiful piece of furniture! This is a well crafted heavy piece. Definitely have the threshold delivery as this block weighs 300lbs. It was delivered right to my front door. I put the legs, small rack on and my husband, son and I moved it into the kitchen. It took about 8 weeks from time of order to delivery, but all things considered for 2020....it is still a win! I would highly recommend John Boos AND kitchen source! |

| We recently ordered the John Boos homestead island, with black base, sized 24" x 36". It required two strong people to move the parts, which weighed over 300 lbs. However, it was easy for two to assemble, and once assembled, it is beautiful! Well worth the price! |

| It is exactly how it appears in the picture. It is so sturdy. It is perfect for our kitchen and now we finally have the extra counter space we needed. I would strongly recommend it to anyone. It is worth the money. Only surprise we had was that it does need to be put together and you need to make sure you have help doing it because it is very heavy, but that was only a minor problem. It is great!!! |
