 I love this work table, once it's together it is a solid, sturdy piece of functional furniture. The butcher block is beautiful & it will be used every day. It would have gotten five stars except it was missing both bolts and washers needed to assemble. Had to make a trip to the hardware store to get the needed parts.

 It's a beautiful, solid table, but I found that in order for it to feel as good as it looked, I needed to sand the entire thing with #400 sandpaper. As supplied, it felt a little rough to the touch, and the edges were quite sharp. After I sanded I oiled the entire thing with Boos's Miracle Oil, and now I'm very happy with it.

 Overall the workmanship is very nice. It was easy to put together. However, there were two indentations - one about quarter size, but irregular, and one smaller in the butcher block top. Also the top was not consistently sanded - there were a few rougher spots, as though they missed spots during the final round of fine grit sanding. Having already put the whole thing together we didn't want to pack it up and return it. Eventually I can steam and sand out the dents, but just to say- it wasn't perfect!

 I bought the country work table in natural finish with two drawers and two towel bars and two shelvs as options. Pros: The island was easy to put together although I did need two men to help me get it upright. It comes in many sizes so you can buy just what you need for your kitchen. It is very sturdy and well built. Cons: Don't order the drawers. They only come out half way and it is impossible to get to anything in the back of the drawer. I should have ordered drawers from a third party and attached them myself. Don't order natural finish. There is no finish at all and every water mark shows. It really needs to be painted and now I have to do that work myself. The finish is uncleanable unless it is painted. The butcher block top is very coarsly finished and everything stains it. I now need to sand the whole top down with a finishing grit in order to get it usable. I suggest buying the oil/wax and keeping it oiled. It is a nice product but needs to be finished to be useful.

 We looked at lots of options for a kitchen island. Our kitchen is not wide enough to accommodate a large island. This work table works perfectly for us. It give us additional counter and storage space. The table is well constructed and the butcher block excellent quality. We also purchased the casters and that allows us to move the table as needed.  This is an absolutely beautiful table, and easily doubles if not triples the working space in my little kitchen. The finish is much nicer than the picture on the website, but that was expected. It's a heavy table, but a snap to put together. I was able to build it by myself. Just make sure you have a flat faced hammer when you install the gliders on the bottom, I didn't and it marred them in a way that it might scratch the floor!

 This really is a nice quality work table. My husband and I set it up in under thirty minutes. I ordered the barn red and it is exactly that. The only complaint I have is with the sample size of butcher block treatment. Seriously? When you get a cosmetic sample it at least gives you enough for one usage! I ended up going to the hardware store.

 AnswerThat is correct the height of the table will remain the same. They will cut the legs down to accommodate the casters. You can add an extra 6 inches in a overhang without a bracket to support.

 AnswerOnly the 60" Wide work table includes the free front door delivery, which is only to the nearest threshold. The trucking company will not go up any steps. The JB-C3624-BK-O, 36", ships via UPS ground. They will leave it on your front porch if you are not home. It weighs 71 lbs.

 AnswerThe casters for this are actually optional. If you want casters, you would have to order them as an accessory, but they will cut the legs so that the table is 36" with the casters if you order them. If you don't order casters, it will be 36" high. You can request that they do not cut the legs, however this would add 2-1/2" height. The drawers are also not included, you have to purchase the drawers as an accessory. 2 drawers are only available on the 60" wide model.
