| This is a great worktable and statement piece for my kitchen. I'm impressed with the overall quality. The fit and finish is top notch and the 4" thick maple end grain top is beautiful. I was a little worried about having this heavy item shipped to me, but Boos has it well boxed and it arrived in perfect shape. The only slight distraction is the drawer glides are a little stiff. The addition of self closing glides would be a nice touch. |

You have to arrange to get the table off the truck and into your home. The table is very heavy and requires two strong men to move it. Again, the table is just beautiful so it deserves five stars. It was easy to put together, but you will need to strong people to set it upright. To me, butcher block is meant to be used. It does spot when wet items are placed on it, but spots disappear when oiled. My guess is that after it is seasoned, that will improve, and it certainly is not bad enough to bother me |

| This workstation looks great in my kitchen but the finish on the surface makes it impractical. The instructions state that you should not get the surface wet. I can't imagine working in a kitchen and not getting the work surface wet. I wish I had done the research before getting a butcher block. In hind sight I would rather a workstation with a counter top surface that can get wet.

| As per the vendor, the top part that is square is 3-3/4" x 3-3/4", and then it varies on down as it tapers. When ordered with the shelf, the leg comes apart (2 part leg) and screws back together with the shelf in between. |

| You are welcome to use this island for seating, however the apron only gives you 23-1/2" H from the bottom of the drawers to the floor of the unit, so finding stools that would allow you to comfortably sit under the island may be hard. |

| Unfortunately, we do not offer white glove delivery to have this assembled upon delivery. Freight shipments are curbside only, but you can request a lift-gate and inside delivery to the nearest threshold (no steps) for an additional fee. |

| This item is 35" H however considering the thickness of the 4" top, and the drawer apron area underneath, this would decrease the seating area below to approximately 24" or so which would not accommodate seating as there would not be enough leg room. |
