This Chef Block by John Boos is a convenient and attractive Small Kitchen Island with a 4" thick End Grain Butcher Block Top crafted from Hard Maple that pairs nicely with the various color options for the base. Together the colors create a beautiful chef block that will stand out in any kitchen. Although it may be a small kitchen island at 24" x 30," it certainly does create an impact with the impressive 4" Boos Block on top. The Cream finish ensures your chef block will last for a lifetime and it stands high 36" high.

| My first order with Kitchensource. I just received this table today. I chose the natural maple base. It assembled easily (attach legs to the top). It was packed securely and survived UPS manhandling undamaged.
It is a VERY sturdy, lovely natural wood table. Thick wood butcher block top, all maple. This is a quality product. Exceeded my expectations. It arrived sooner than promised, and I can't argue with the pricing on a Boos product.
If you want one of these, buy it. You won't be disappointed.

| Boos chef's block or table is sheer bliss in the kitchen. Assembly (attaching legs with a wrench) was a piece of cake and the 4" inch maple top is gorgeous. Oil it and love it. It's an heirloom piece that grandkids will fight over one day. |

| The product, a Boos butcher block, is a solid nice butcher block that also serves as a kitchen table. Easy to put together although one part of the painted leg near the bolt guide hole slivered off although in a hidden place. Have been oiling top, sides and underneath copiously with mineral oil. Love the edge grain top. Interesting that the UPS guy complained about its weight 115 lbs because they used to be limited to 70 pounds. You will need help to turn it upright after the legs go on. I put felt pads under legs to protect my floor. |

| This chef block is lovely - a substantial and heavy, quality piece. I ordered mine with black legs and the paint matches my black dining chairs perfectly. My kitchen counter space is pretty much nil, so this 30" workspace is a lifesaver. The block was on sale when I got it, the price couldn't be beat. I highly recommend this product! |
