| We are renting an apartment with an awkward kitchen and needed extra prep and storage space. I spent a long time looking online for a cart/island and when I saw this, knew it was the one. I've bought other things online before that were so awful, I had to send them back.
This cart/island is of very good quality and is perfect for our awkward kitchen. I got dark wood and stainless top. The two shelves hold an 18 cup Brita water dispenser and four large baskets. The drawers are shallow, but hold knives and misc kitchen tools.
Overall, we are very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend to friends.I wouldn't mind it being a bit wider, which is why I only gave it four stars. |

 | The shelf does not come out any further. You can sit at the kitchen cart, but the shelf will not hang over your legs. |
