This Promotional Butcher Block Cart by Catskill Craftsmen makes a stunning addition to any kitchen. The top, braces, legs and doors are all made of a beautiful and sturdy solid birch hardwood. The back, shelves and sides are made of a warp-resistant veneer, an exquisite match to the birch hardwood of the rest of the piece. These carts have spacious drawers and convenient bottom shelves which provide a great amount of storage. The birch hardwood of this cart is beautifully complemented by satin nickel hardware, including a useful towel bar. Heavy duty locking casters give the cart support and mobility.

HOWEVER I must caution that assembly is difficult and directions, confusing. That's because there is attention to detail, such as no nuts and bolts showing on the outside, to give this cart a well finished look. Took a couple hours or more to completely assemble. But worth it! |

| My wife and I put this together but not without a lot of sweat. While technically not incorrect, the instructions leave a lot to be desired. Once it was together correctly though, it's a beautiful cabinet which fits great in our kitchen decor. |

| Went together fairly straightforward and well. I did end up with 2 extra washers and I think I know where the directions should have told me to put them. ( the door knobs) No big deal.

| The Catskill Craftsman kitchen cart is of very good quality wood. It fits very nicely in a very small space. It holds a lot of kitchen items that I couldn't find space for. However, the instructions were a bit unclear and it took longer than it should have if the instructions had been clearer.

| We purchased this as a stand for our mictrovave. We were very pleased with the quality of the wood and its sturdiness. The directions did not give enough verbal guidance but were not too difficult to figure out. We worked as a team and it took us about 1 hour and a half. We did have to take several pieces apart because the directions were not really clear but in the end we were able to easily figure it out. We are definitely pleased with the stand. |

| When ordering online I always feel like it's somewhat of a crap-shoot. I must say, i was SO pleased with the high quality of the Catskill kitchen cart I ordered from Kitchsource. The wood is the finest quality, and it is gorgeous. And the cart is so well made, and easy to assemble. Had I bought this cart in a store I believe it would easily have cost TWICE the price. | This is a quality piece that is both functional and lovely in my kitchen.
It was time-consuming (about 2 hours) but not particularly difficult to assemble, although the mostly-graphic instructions could have been better.
Be aware that, although the front casters do lock, they can still swivel even in the locked position, and the back ones do not lock at all, so it will still move around when pushed with any force. |
