- The Boos Block Mystery Oil acts as the shampoo. The oil and minerals penetrates through the wood surface to increase its longevity. The Boos Block Board Cream acts as the conditioner. It is used after the Mystery Oil to seal the top coating of the wood surface to provide a thick surface protection.
Description:
John Boos Board Cream, applied monthly, is designed to maintain the health of your Wooden Cutting Board, Butcher's Block, or Countertops. Overtime, the oils and waxes used to seal the pores of your wooden item will degrade, allowing moisture into and out of the board. The Heavy Board Cream helps to re-seal the pores, preventing staining, warping, and cracking. Sudden Changes in Humidity can be extremely dangerous to an un-treated or undertreated wood material. The Board Cream is a thick and viscous treatment, which settles just under the surface to create a surface seal.
Pair the Board Cream with John Boos Mystery Oil, which is designed to penetrate to the core of your wooden products.
