Easy to mount, these decorative cabinet hinges are available in a variety of superior quality finishes and styles to accommodate any color theme in your home. The hinges can open at different angles and come in your choice of closing methods; from free-swinging (the hinges do not have any closing mechanism), to self-closing (where the hinge pulls the door shut when it's a few inches from being closed), to self-opening (where the hinge comes with a mechanism to open the door when pushed), or soft closing (where the hinge has a mechanism that activates when the door is within a few inches of being shut and gently closes it). The cabinet hinges can be concealed, if you don't want the hinge to be visible from the outside of the cabinet when the door is closed. Semi-concealed hinges are partly visible from the outside of the cabinet, and often include a ball tip or a finial tip. Exposed hinges are fully visible from the outside of the cabinet when closed.

Butt hinges are normally used for cabinet doors, either interior or exterior, and are very strong, but they cannot be adjusted once they are fitted on your door. Mortised, or recessed, hinges require the cutting of a mortise or recess in the cabinet to fit the hinge leaves for proper mounting. Non-mortised, or surface mounted, hinges do not require mortising/recessing any part the door, and screw directly onto the cabinet. Wraparound hinges are not fully concealable and have leaves that are formed to wrap around the edge of the cabinet door or face frame. Hinges that have a partial wraparound will wrap around the door and have a plain flat leaf so it can be used on a frameless cabinet.

European hinges are concealed, and can be used with frameless or face-frame applications. They require a mounting plate that secures to the cabinet and a cup that fits in a mortise/recess drilling in the back of the door. Some European hinges have adjustments in two or three directions, making it easy to fine-tune the alignment. The European hinges come in a variety of opening angles and are available with different overlay choices. Full overlay hinges have no bend or crank in the hinge arm and covers all or nearly all of the front edge of the cabinet. Half overlay hinges have an 8mm bend or crank in the hinge arm. These hinges are typically used in the middle of a run of cabinets where the doors share a single partition wall. Hinges with 1/2" overlay allows a dor to cover up the cabinet or face frame by 1/2". Inset overlay hinges have a 17mm bend or crank, and fit within the cabinet opening, sitting flush with the front edges of the cabinet.
