 The quality and finish of the wood is excellent, I was surprise. I Wish I found it years ago. It holds all my forks, spoons and knives in the front compartments, so only need to open the draw half way to choose any item. I set it on the same rubber mat that I have been using for years and it does not slid around like the last two trays I had. I had a friend cut it down with a table saw. Only recommendation I would make is that the front slots could be a little longer, everything fits, but could use a little more wiggling.

 The sections in this cutlery insert are too skinny. It is hard to get wider items, like spatulas in them (even on their side). Would be better to have fewer sections that are wider rather than more sections that are narrow.

 AnswerEach cutlery section is 2-3/4" wide. The minimum trim depth is 14-1/4". It either comes in 15-1/4" width or 23-1/2" width, but can be cut to size. It's not intended to be compatible with any other product, so we cannot recommend using it with a different organizer. It really depends on your application.
