Crafted of a single piece of American Cherry, these beautiful Rustic-Edge Design Cutting Boards by John Boos are full of character with natural variations in grain patterns, coloration, and features. Available in different sizes, the 1-3/4" thick, rustic-edge design is reversible and has a Boos Block® Cream w/ Beeswax finish. The cutting boards are made with energy efficiency, with 25% less carbon footprint and utilizing 25% less material waste.

| The wood is nice, but mine was warped right out of the box. I had to attach small felt pads on back side to correct the warp. Ill have to do the same when I flip to other side.
Figured I'd at least get a hunk of wood thats was planed to a true even flat surface, especially for 100 bucks

| Our new cutting board is BEAUTIFUL!
The wood glows. I treated it immediately before use with Boos Oil and Cream.
It is such a relief to know that there are no glued together pieces to worry about coming undone.
I bought a silicone mat that has ridges so that air can circulate under the board, water cannot sneak under to cause harm and it helps to keep the board from slipping around while working on it. Although it is a 12 pound block of wood, it still was sliding a little on the counter. I used a towel under it until I got the mat, towel worked but I worried about water seeping under and holding moisture on the bottom of the board since it is right next to the sink.
One of the best investments I have made in a long time. Tired of buying 2-3 cutting boards a year to be disappointed in them. This Boos board is going to last me the rest of my life! It's BEAUTIFUL! |
