The Chopping Block Collection 2-1/4'' Thick Cutting Board by John Boos comes in a rectangular or square shape. It is reversible, has hand grips for easy mobility, and is available in many sizes. Providing a reliable cutting surface, this chopping block is safe for all food preparation and perfect for any professional chef or amateur. The end grain boasts a beautiful checkerboard design and is self-healing, not only weathering continuous use, but also killing off bacteria. A functional and elegant kitchen accessory, the chopping block is made In the U.S.A. It is constructed from 2-1/4" thick hard rock maple end grain and finished with Boos Block® Cream w/ Beeswax to prevent cracking, bleaching and drying.

| Last fall my wife and I returned home after a two-and-a-half-week trek through Europe. We came home to a warped and separating Boos Block. I resolved right then to replace it last Christmas. I ordered it in early November and even had it sent to my neighbor's house so as to not give up the secret. After ordering it, my wife not trusting my gift-giving acumen dropped the hint that a replacement block would be a nice Christmas present. I shrugged it off and cited a bigger purchase for each other that we were both committed to this year.
The item arrived a little late based on when I ordered it. I was actually worried about it arriving in time for Christmas at one point and pinged KS customer service as the shipment date arrived without an update. Still, it arrived and was under the tree and I made the 'nice' list again. Saves me for another year, I hope. If I had any suggestion it would be a more communicative process on shipping, but that shouldn't knock the site. The block arrived in time for Christmas Day. |

| I bought this Boo's cutting board for my husband's Father's Day gift. He has shown a lot of interest in helping out with cooking so I thought I would surprise him with his very Boo's board.
Boy was he delighted and surprised. I cannot keep him off of it!!! The board is everything you would expect from Boo's. It is not too big and can easily sit on top of the counter.
