| I settled on the arched top and bowed bottom cutting board made out of maple. The wood is beautiful, and the workmanship exceptional. It's thick enough to not shift when chopping, but not too heavy to lift. The indented grooves on the sides help with this task. I purchased the one without feet so I could use both sides-the grooved side for vegetables and meat, and the flat side for fruit. No one wants their cantaloupe to taste like onions! I recommend purchasing Boos board cream to maintain the board-it's easy to apply and soaks in overnight. The discounted price was a bonus! |
