The inch-and-a-half thick Edge Grain design guarantees a long life under even the most grueling of work loads. Edge Grain is the hardest surface of the wood and safe for your knives. | Excellent cutting board. Perfect thickness. Properly cared for, this should last years. Would have liked the board to have been more finely sanded. It does require some sanding for a very smooth finish. I've been in the kitchen over 40 years, this is the best cutting board for the money. |
