This Appalachian Red Oak Countertop adds pure stunning beauty to the heart of your home. Appalachian Red Oak features a golden appearance with a pronounced grain pattern. The Edge Grain construction presents the hardest surface of the wood which provides durability and longevity, while the full-length rail construction runs the entire counter top for a clean, continuous look. Measuring 1-1/2" thick and 25" deep, the countertops are available in a variety of widths from 12" to 144" to fit any kitchen. The countertop is available in an oil finish suitable for food prep or a semi-gloss varnique finish.

| Exactly what I hoped for. I ordered a red oak 1.5-inch thick block 84 inches long and 25 inches wide. Dimensions were spot on, which was important to me because I separately ordered a custom metal table frame in the same length and width. The table is a thin-leg Parson from Room and Board, custom ordered for around 525 dollars. Overall cheaper than Room and Board's complete butcher block table custom ordered. Anyway, they look fantastic together and perfectly suit my needs as a super wide computer and media desk. The red oak is smooth, beautiful, and HEAVY. No regrets whatsoever. I will gladly order another if I ever have the need, and I look forward to this one being around a long time. |
