This beautiful Blended Maple Grain Butcher Block Kitchen Island Top from John Boos adds beauty and class to any kitchen island. The Blended Flat Grain construction features random lengths and color variations of Hard Rock Maple jointed together to create a striking and unique design. Hard Rock Maple features a creamy light or blond appearance and is one of the hardest and most durable woods available. The island tops are available in depths of 27”, 30”, 32”, 36”, 38” and 42”, and in 36" to 144" widths to fit any kitchen island. The island tops are available in an oil finish suitable for food prep or a semi-gloss varnique finish.

| Overall, its a good butcher block. There was one ding in the edge, which we'll try to get out using the method suggested in the printed material. The color of the different "fingers" fades to a darker grain of wood in one corner as well. Doesn't make the piece look too bad, but is noticeable. I'm satisfied with it, though, being as I paid much less than any other store or site I found. |

| Well it made it all the way to florida and its installed and looks fantastic. I am very happy with it. On the other side, PLEASE pack these things better. One end of the carton was missing exposing the bare wood. ??? (it was a long Roadway trip). There was a large strike mark on one edge. It won't be noticed much.
