The blended edge-grain construction boasts a harmonious look of beautiful color varying finger joints and rails that do not run the full length of the countertop, while providing durability and longevity. The island tops are available in depths of 30”, 32”, 36”, 38” and 42”, and in 36", 42", 48", 60", 72", 97", 121" and 145" widths to fit any kitchen island. Available in oil or an optional Varnique finish.

| I purchased the cherry butcher block and am thrilled at how beautiful it is and how much it changes a drab kitchen into a gorgeous, elegant room. I used it to replace a formica counter top island. It was very easy to round the corners and soften the edge and simple to install. It took a pint of mineral oil at first but it is perfect in everyway. |

Only installed for a week at this point, so can't yet speak to the long-term stability.
I was a bit surprised how easily it stained with food, but salt and lemon juice got out the worst, and now it's just part of the improving patina. |

 | You or your installer can cut the hole for the sink as John Boos does not cut sink holes. Please keep in mind that if you are installing a sink, you should be using a Varnique finish to protect it from moisture. This however should not be cut on as it would scratch / mark the top. With a varnique finish you would still need a cutting board. |
