Description:

These Broan Ceiling Mount Vertical Discharge Utility Fans provide efficiency and high performance with a permanently lubricated, termally protected plug-in motor, fiberglass-reinforced fan blades and 25-gage housing finished in electrically-bonded epoxy paint. The fans have a contemporary style and feature white polymeric grilles that can be painted to match any color scheme. Aluminum filters and speed control switches are also available separately.

	Is this ceiling fan adequate for a kitchen? It's a small kitchen but it opens up to a dining room family room open concept area. - Asked about product BRL-505
		Item BRL-505 has 180 CFM. The BRL-504 has a bigger cutout but it has double the CFM with 350 CFM, so it might be a better choice since your kitchen opens up into an open concept area. Keep in mind there are multiple plastic components to this fan, so it is not suitable for use right over a cooktop.
