| Received very quickly - two large heavy boxes. During assembly, one of the camlock fasteners was difficult and cracked the wood. Mostly the unit was as advertised. There was a scratch on the top but it doesn't matter because we are replacing it with granite. |

| The detail on this island is great! We were looking for an island with storage and character and this has it. It was easy to put together and only took us a little over an hour to assemble it. We will be replacing the wooden top with granite to match out kitichen counters, but either way it's a working island. |

| I ordered this island after getting an estimate from the cabinet showroom where I purchased my kitchen cabinets. This island was 1/3 the price and it is incredible! I had the same granite I used on my counters installed on the top. Everyone who comes into the kitchen raves about the island and even my builder has said it's the nicest island he has ever put together. The drawer and doors fit exactly right--I love that they are accessed from either side of the island. I'm so impressed with kitchensource that I've ordered counter stools. |

| The shelves on the side measure 11-1/4" W x 6" D. Behind the door, there is one long adjustable shelf. The area behind the cabinet doors is 20-1/2"W x 18-1/2"D x 19-3/4"H, and the cabinet has one adjustable shelf inside. |

| The top does in fact come in a separate box. Please note that the top is already partially assembled with the drawer unit already on there. We do not recommend or encourage trying to alter the product with other materials. These products are made to be assembled a very specific way, and we can't guarantee that this alteration will work for you. |
