Ordered this because lost counter space in kitchen and a buffet was destroyed in a pipe burst. This covers both. Looks good too. |

Very attractive piece with nice wood quality. Took about 2.5 hours to assemble by myself. Directions were OK. Well fitting pieces, with no warping and no miss-alignments. |

Please change your ad from "some assembly required" to "this furniture arrives in two boxes and must be totally assembled."
Fortunately, my husband is really good at putting things together, so this island looks great. We were surprised that it was totally in pieces. |

Sorry. I just sent a comment which wasn't quite factual. The ad does say "assembly required," not "Some assembly required."
We just didn't think it would be total assembly. |

The length and width do not seem to be correct. They say overall width 40", with leaf up 38" with leaf down 38". The depth seems to be incorrect also. What is under the hardwood veneer, plywood? - Asked about product CA-51538 | ||
The Dimensions are accurate. The width is taken from left to right of the island. The ‘Overall’ Width includes the towel and spices racks while, the Top with drop leaf up ‘Width’ is just the countertop. The ‘Depth’ is what changes on the island due to the leaf up vs. down.
Yes, under the hardwood veneer is plywood. |
