How tall are the rail posts? How far above the countertop does the rail sit? - Asked about product HA-522.17.213
This item would sit approximately 1-11/16" above the countertop - here are the specs: http://im-3.eefa.co/ha-522.17.213-a-s3.jpg |

Can the vertical posts be screwed to a countertop from underneath? I need only one 90 degree corner. How long is the rod either direction from the corner? Can the distance be altered? I would also need 2 end caps where the rod stops in either direction. - Asked about product HA-522.16.216
The post goes into a 8mm hole that is in the countertop. For extra support, they can be glued into place.
The corner is 260mm in length from each leg - http://im-3.eefa.co/ha-522.16.216-s3.jpg They are 1000mm in length for the straight pieces - http://im-3.eefa.co/ha-522.15.219-a-s3.jpg This pieces can be altered/cut to get the length needed. They can be ended with the posts. |

I am looking for a rail system that can be attached to a 8mm thick glass shelf. would this work, and will I need to drill into the glass or is there another way it can be fastened(clamped over the edge maybe). Or is there another suggestion you may have. Also the shelf is not straight at the open end as it bows out, so a curved finish is needed. - Asked about product HA-522.17.213
The posts are knocked in, so you would have to drill holes in the glass to install this countertop railing system. They cannot be fastened or clamped. There are two types of rods available, the straight rod (item # 522.15.219), that is 39-3/8" long, and the corner, 90 degree rod (item# 522.16.216) available. Straight rods and corner rods are inserted through the holes in the posts and are “spliced” inside the post holes. |
